Bookkeeper

Gonyea Homes, Inc. DBA Stonegate Builders and Gonyea Custom Homes has a job opening for an entry level Bookkeeper who thrives in a details, systems and process focused environment. Must be able to maintain accurate financial records and confidentiality and be able to complete a variety of responsibilities in an organized manner. Accounting duties make up the majority of the role, including record storage, AP transactions, vendor record upkeep, bank deposits, a variety of regular reporting to support the accounting and other departments and supply orders. Using the company’s software systems extensively to complete these responsibilities is key. An Additional responsibility IT/equipment support. The IT/equipment support portion of the role allows for on-the-job training with the IT Coordinator to be able to understand and trouble-shoot issues with copiers, phones and computers.

Requirements:

Experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of basic bookkeeper skills required.
Experience with Quickbooks and/or Builder Trend a plus.
An associate’s degree in accounting/business or related work experience is required.

Pay range is $21 – $24 per hour plus full benefit package

Part-time or Full-time availability.
